Black Mirror Season 6 Casts Deadpool 2’s Rob Delaney
While already featuring a star-studded roster, Black Mirror season 6 has added Catastrophe and Deadpool 2’s Rob Delaney to its cast. Delaney is known for playing Peter in Deadpool 2, and Rob Norris in the TV series Catastrophe. He has also starred in TV series such as Fairfax, The Man Who Fell to Earth, and Birdgirl, as well as movies such as Bombshell and Life After Beth.
Now, Netflix has cast Delaney in the sixth season of Black Mirror, according to Deadline. The cast has also been reported to include Rory Culkin, Myha’la Harrod, Aaron Paul, and Josh Hartnett. Salma Hayek and Annie Murphy are also in talks to join the Black Mirror cast. Details about Delaney’s role, as well as additional casting information, are being kept strictly under wraps by Netflix.
With the news of Delaney’s casting, Black Mirror fans get a small bit of information regarding season 6’s content, which is already rumored to contain more episodes than season 5. Since each episode of Black Mirror is self-contained, past seasons have given the opportunity to feature a wide range of unknown, up-and-coming, and seasoned stars to create a varied cast of characters. Season 5 featured a number of notable stars, including Andrew Scott, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Miley Cyrus. While Black Mirror season 6 has yet to land a release date, anticipation is sure to be high for its Netflix return thanks to its large roster of celebrated actors that now includes Delaney.
