Cabinet Of Curiosities: The Outside Cast & Character Guide
Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities boasts a cast of talented actors in its fourth episode, “The Outside” – here’s the cast and who they play in the horror anthology series’ episode 4. Released on Netflix on October 26, “The Outside” is based on Emily Carroll’s webcomic “Some Other Animal’s Meat. » Unlike other Cabinet of Curiosities episodes that might be considered more typical horror fare for the themes they explore, “The Outside” starts off somewhat peculiarly as it focuses on its protagonist’s self-confidence regarding her looks and social standing at the bank where she works.
Directed by The Bad Batch’s Ana Lily Amirpour, Cabinet of Curiosities episode 4 follows Stacey as she tries on a strange lotion called Alo Glo to gain membership in her coworkers’ inner circle. While her coworkers didn’t seem to have any side effects from their Alo Glo use, Stacey does. Kate Micucci as Stacey
Kate Micucci stars as Stacey, the protagonist of “The Outside” and a very shy woman who feels left out by her coworkers and their interests. When she finally gets invited to a coworker’s party, things seem to look better. However, when she receives a potion as a gift and tries it out, Stacey starts displaying horrible side effects. Micucci famously voiced Velma in Be Cool Scooby-Doo!, Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost, and Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? Micucci has an extensive career as a voice actor, appearing in DuckTales from 2017 to 2021 and Spy Kids: Mission Critical. Besides Cabinet of Curiosities, Micucci famously played Lucy, Raj’s girlfriend, in The Big Bang Theory season 6.
Dan Stevens in Alo Glo Man
Beauty and the Beast actor Dan Stevens plays the Alo Glo man in Cabinet of Curiosities episode 4. The character only appears through Stacey’s television screen, but he seems to know the exact words to tell her to convince her to use the Alo Glo potion. Stevens rose to fame by playing Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey. More recently, Stevens played the hilarious Alexander Lemtov in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga and John Dean in Gaslit.
Martin Starr as Keith
Martin Starr plays Keith, Stacey’s husband that tries to remind her that she doesn’t need the lotion to attain some predetermined beauty standards to fit in with her coworkers. Starr is famous for playing Bill Haverchuck in Freaks and Geeks. Starr starred in Silicon Valley and also appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Besides Cabinet of Curiosities, Starr recently appeared in Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe.

Kylee Evans as Gina – Evans plays Gina, the queen bee of Stacey’s colleagues. Evans played Stephanie Borden in Good Witch and recently voiced Pink-i in The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. Besides Cabinet of Curiosities, Evans also appeared in Netflix’s Luckiest Girl Alive.
Sabryn Rock as Cassidy – Rock plays Cassidy, Stacey’s supervisor. Rock famously played Pippa in Black Mirror season 4, episode 2. Rock recently played Gwen Barnes in The Porter.
Diana Bentley as Jill – Bentley plays Jill in Cabinet of Curiosities episode 4. Jill is one of Stacey’s coworkers using the Alo Glo lotion. Bentley is known for playing Imogen in Netflix’s Frontier. Bentley also appeared in Departure and Netflix’s Locke & Key.
Shauna MacDonald as Kathy – MacDonald plays Kathy, Stacey’s colleague. Kathy is part of Gina’s clique. MacDonald played Jeanne De Mohrenschildt in 11.22.63. More recently, she appeared in Workin’ Moms.
Julia Juhas as Lisa – Juhas plays Lisa, another one of Stacey’s colleagues. Juhas appeared in various TV shows, including 2012’s Beauty and the Beast and Remedy. Recently, Juhas played Jane in One Good Reason.
Elena Juatco as Samantha – Juatco plays Samantha, one of Gina’s friends at the party. Juatco appeared in Schitt’s Creek and Jann. Besides Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, Juatco recently starred in Easter Sunday.
