Fallen Order Merrin Cosplay Perfectly Captures Star Wars’ Nightsister
A Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order fan has recently channeled the popular Nightsister ally Merrin with an impressive cosplay. Set five years after the galaxy-changing events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith in the canon Star Wars timeline, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order tells the story of former Jedi apprentice Cal Kestis as he sets out to uncover the lost secrets of the Jedi and rebuild the old Jedi Order. Along the way, Cal must confront dangerous enemies like the Imperial Inquisitors and even the dreaded Darth Vader himself – as well as make powerful allies to assist him onboard Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Stinger Mantis ship.

Merrin was a survivor of General Grievous’s purge of the Nightsisters during the Clone Wars (as depicted in the must-watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode “Massacre”), though she mistakenly thought that the Jedi were responsible. She initially allies herself with the fallen Jedi Taron Malicos and attacks Cal when he and his friends arrive on Dathomir, until she eventually discovers the truth about Malicos and turns against him. Bonding with Cal over their shared experience of losing people dear to them, Merrin eventually joins the Jedi in his mission and becomes a valued ally in the quest to locate the remnants of the Jedi.
Reddit user and cosplayer RuthlessNightsister has dressed up as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Merrin before, alongside other characters like the Second Sister and even a gender-flipped Cal Kestis from the upcoming Jedi: Survivor. They recently shared some new images of their Merrin cosplay to r/Fallen Order – initially shared on their ruthlessnightsister Instagram account – showing off how well they recreated the Nightsister’s pale skin, crimson robes, and elaborate grey facial markings. Jedi: Fallen Order fans have praised RuthlessNightsister’s work in the comment section and have even asked about their other Star Wars cosplays.
Nightsister Merrin Is Set To Return In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Merrin is expected to return in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which was announced earlier this year and is currently set to launch sometime in 2023. Naturally, fans have been speculating and debating Merrin’s role in the upcoming sequel. Some think that Merrin will strike up a romantic relationship with Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor due to how they connected in Jedi: Fallen Order, while others have stated that a relationship would take away from her character. Others hope that Merrin will be playable in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, as her dark side-fueled Nightsister abilities could make for a fun contrast to Cal’s traditional Jedi powers.
